Anne Brodginski Obituary

Anne H. Brodginski
Anne H. Brodginski, 78, of Danbury, longtime resident of Ridgefield, died peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023.
Anne was born in Tarrytown, NY on February 5, 1945; a daughter of the late Phyllis (Carey) and Franklin "Bud" Hall. Anne worked for different companies, but her beloved position was sales at Talbots here in Ridgefield.
A longtime resident of Ridgefield, Anne was a faithful parishioner of Saint Elizabeth Seton Church. Anne loved volunteering her time to help many organizations and her church. She was in the Prime Timers Program and Outreach Program at Saint Elizabeth Seton, for many years, in which she was involved with Birthright, the Homeless Shelter in Danbury, Christmas Giving Tree for Bridgeport, and Prison Ministry at the Bedford Hills Women Correctional Facility. She also loved volunteering at the Ridgefield Thrift Shop. She had the opportunity, not only to live in Brazil and Paris, France, but also to travel to many places across the world. She loved to needlepoint; making ornaments for her family and friends as well as playing Bridge with her bridge groups and at Founders Hall.
Anne is survived by her children, Meredith Valasek and her husband, Jason and Joseph Payne Jr.; as well as her grandchildren, Jake and Kyle Valasek. Anne is also survived by her brother, Carey Hall and his wife, Victoria, as well as her nephew, Frederick Hall. In addition, Anne is survived by her stepchildren, Helen Brodginski, Mark Brodginski and Bill Brodginski and his wife, Shirley; as well as her step-grandchildren: Danielle Casagrande and her husband, Rick, Michael Helmus and his wife, Ashley, Emma Menzie and her husband, Scott, Gregory Brodginski, Philip Brodginski and Carl Brodginski; and her step-great-grandchildren, Adriana, Matthew and Lillian Casagrande.
In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband, Gregory; and stepson, Todd Brodginski.
