I am very sad because the loss of my godfather and mentor is tremendous for me personally, for our family, and for everyone in the world he touched. I miss him terribly already, and I know thousands of others whose lives he blessed will also miss him. At the same time, I am so happy that he is no longer suffering, but is celebrating and praising God with all the saints and angels around the throne with a perfect spiritual body. He is hearing God the Father tell him, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your master...."
The picture is from Uncle Bob and Aunt Vilia's visit to us in Abu Ghosh 5 years ago at the local "Emmaus" monastery. Uncle Bob valued the solitude one can find at a monastery, and he taught us all that the most important thing for every believer is to dedicate time to abide in Jesus. Thank you, Uncle Bob, for leaving this gift with us!
