Born: May 26, 1964 | Died: July 30, 2025

Joe Walton VanCleave, age 61, of Louisville, Tennessee, passed away on July 30, 2025 from heart surgery complications. He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church in Maryville.

Joe was born and raised in Rogersville, Tennessee. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking and camping and was a Scoutmaster for Troop 506 in Halls, Tn. for many years.

Joe is preceded in death by parents, Celton and Mary VanCleave of Rogersville, Tn. He is survived by brothers, Thom VanCleave of Florida and John VanCleave of Pennsylvania; sisters, Alice Quaintance (David) of Hermitage, and Ann Hunley (William) of Knoxville; nieces, Jennifer Dwulet of Indianapolis, and Allison Blair of Columbia, Tn.; nephew, Scott (Melissa) of Pennsylvania; and great-nieces, Lily Dwulet and Reagan Blair.

The family will hold a small, private service at a later date.
