Steven Jones Obituary
Died: March 6, 2025
Steven Wayne Jones, aka S.W. Jones, Clown, or Cowboy, of Rogersville, passed away March 6.
Clown had his last rodeo. Nothing he loved more than being in the arena and entertaining everyone. He had so many friends that were there for his final days. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Scott and Barbara Jones of Rogersville; his grandparents: David and Verdie Shortt, and Burl Vondale Jones of Phillipi, West Virginia; and a brother: David (Scotty) Jones of Rogersville.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Bonnie Jones of Rogersville, Sharon (Calvin) Shenton of Marriottsville, Maryland; a son: Justin Jones of Dunn, North Carolina; a girlfriend: Lori Delph; along with many nieces and nephews; and his special fur baby: Remi.
A celebration of life will be April 6 at 2 p.m. at Cowboy's Restaurant in Rogersville. All are welcome.

Lori, I'm so sorry for your loss. Even though we lost touch after my dad passed away and I moved to Pennsylvania, I will never forget Cowboy. He was always there for me when I needed him. He was a good friend, first to my dad, and then to me when I moved to Tennessee. He was always there for me and I won't ever forget him.
I know you will miss him and I know it's difficult. Just remember the good times you had together. I pray that you will find comfort and peace through this difficult time of pain and loss.

Steve..You´d became a great friend who would do anything for anyone and I´m gonna miss you a lot. Every time I see a clown, I´ll think of you. You will be missed by many. Lots of hugs and kisses.

You were the love of my life and Remi and I miss you so very much. You were the dream I had always dreamed. You were so good to me and would have done anything for us. To say that I'm lost just won't do because it's much more than that. I'll love and miss you until I take my last breath.
