1959 - 2016

Douglas J. "Doug" Davis, of Rolla, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 57.
He was born in Hannibal, MO on February 16, 1959 to the late Darold K. "Tiny" Davis and Onez (Stump) Davis.
On February 16, 1991 he married Dianne Raffaelli, who survives.
Doug previously worked as the general manager of the Big Bear Farm & Home Store in Rolla and later as lead maintenance for the Cantex Corporation in Rolla.
Among his many interests were fishing, hunting, watching the television show "Super Natural" with his daughter and cooking for his family. Doug was also a member of the Rolla Moose Lodge since 2002.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Ann Davis; granddaughter, Molly Davis; and brother Dale Davis.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes his wife Dianne Davis, of Rolla; five children, Dominic Raffaelli and wife Jennifer, of Fenton, MO, Thomas Davis and companion Karen Huff, of St. James, MO, Phillip Davis and companion Jessica Shay, of Rolla, Robert Davis and wife Jenifer, of Rolla, and Ashley Davis and companion Corey Bunton, also of Rolla; four brothers, David Davis and wife Diane, of Columbia, MO, Dirk Davis and wife Mary of Palmyra, MO, Darin Davis and wife Paula of Louisiana, MO and Daniel Davis of Brookfield, MO; one sister, Mary Beth Davis of Hannibal, MO; nine grandchildren, Hailey, Cameron, Sal, Alex, Lucas, Payge, Phalen, Lucy, and Rain; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service for Doug Davis will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service Wednesday beginning at 2 pm.
