Loretta Mae Debeaux
Rolla - Loretta Mae Debeaux, age 79 of Rolla, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021, at her residence.
Loretta was born on November 5, 1941, in Maneno, Illinois, a daughter to the late Ester and Elwood Gray.
Loretta had been employed at Scattered Oaks in St. James as a C.N.A for 10 years before quitting for health reasons.
On April 5, 1988 she was united in marriage to Thomas R. Debeaux in Arkansas. Thomas survives of their home near Rolla.
Loretta and Thomas moved to the Rolla area from St. Louis in 1994. She enjoyed watching westerns on tv, doing crossword puzzles, cooking and listening to older country music. She was known to have made many beautiful quilts for friends and family through the years. Loretta had many animals that she loved and cared for. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family.
Loretta is survived by: one son, James Klownowski of Kansas; four daughters, Brenda Arnett of Illinois, Bernice Birgnow of St. Louis, Brandy Klownowski of St. Louis and Bambi Slawson of St. James; twenty five grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ester and Audrey as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by one son, John Klownowski, one grandson, Jordan Debeaux, and two brothers, Walter and Ronnie.
