Sandra Arlene Harrop

1970 - 2016

Sandra Arlene Harrop, of Rolla, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the age of 45.
She was born on December 22, 1970 in Pompton Plains, NJ to Lawrence Ivan Wood and Judith Elaine (Bepler) Wood. On July 3, 1993 she married Donald Glenn Harrop, Jr.
Sandra was first, and foremost, a mother to her own children and many others.
Sandra was a school teacher for the Newburg Elementary School for 5 years, the Newburg Cheerleading Coach, as well as, a past president of the St. James Band Boosters. Sandra was a member of the Coffee Brothers American Legion Post 12 Women's Auxiliary in Vienna. She loved games, scrapbooking, music, cross stitching and geocaching.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Wood.
Sandra will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: her husband, Donald Glenn Harrop, Jr. of Rolla; her father, Lawrence Ivan Wood of Vichy, MO; three sons, Donald Glenn "Trey" Harrop, III, Joseph Alexander Harrop, both of Rolla, and Andrew Michael Wood of Vichy; daughter, Jessica Dawn Harrop of Rolla; three brothers, Timothy Wood and wife Candace of Victorville, CA, Paul Wood of Vichy, MO and Jeff Wood of Vichy, MO; one sister, Denise Wood of Vichy, MO and mother-in-law, Nancy Harrop of Rolla;
A memorial service for Sandra A. Harrop will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Habitat for Humanity or the Siteman Cancer Center of St. Louis, MO.
