Elizabeth Tuck Obituary

Elizabeth AnNell Tuck, 78, of Bryson City NC, went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2024. She was born January 08, 1946, to the late Floyd and Ellen Franklin Dehart. She married Annis Kay Tuck May 29, 1964, in the living room of his parents' home. She was a homemaker, she loved spending time with her husband, and was really invested in his interests and made them her own. She loved her family and instilled her moral compass into her children. She believed in allowing her children to grow and play with help from her as needed.
In addition to her husband of 59 years, left to cherish her memory are her two children; Kayra Norris (Gary) of Leicester NC, and Sam Tuck (Renee) of Greenville SC; five grandchildren: Amelia Ray (John), Michelle Lott (Jeff), Stacy Young (Paul), Leanne Winegardner (Andrew), and Aaron Mize; Seven great-grandchildren; Her sister Ella Mae Wright (Bill); Two nephews: Danny Knowles, and Greg Wright (Joanna); and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a beloved Wife, Mom, and Nannie, and will be missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service was held at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 2pm. The family received friends an hour prior to the service. Brother Randy Stone officiated.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Care Partners Solace Center located at 21 Belvedere Rd, Asheville, NC 28803.
