I didn't find out until today (6/8/2008) that Bobby had passed away. A friend told me about it at the grocery store. I grew up with Bobby and his family at the Big Oak Crub Market. I would got with them to pick peaches when I was just a young boy. We lived close to his famly and spent a lot of time with them. I'm very sorry to hear about Bobby. God bless each one of you.
Sincerely,
Darrell Furr

My father, Jim Polk, was Bobby's first cousin. He is the son of Bobby's Aunt Mae. Although, I never met Bobby, I knew so much about him because my grandmother loved to share family stories and particularly about her Albemarle people. To Kevin and Kyle, I know your pain as my father, Jim Polk, is in the final days of his life. God Bless you and your families during this very difficult time. Your cousin, Laura Colton (nee Polk)
