Michael Simpson Farrington of Albemarle was born March 12, 1977.
He died September 17, 2022.
He leaves his love, heart, and memory to the following: his Mother Lisa Farrington Propst and Stepfather Danny Propst of North Wilkesboro; His Fiancé, the love of his life and he the love of hers, Melissa May Blackwelder of the home, her sons Gage Blackwelder of the home and Trenton Frye of Rockwell; His sons Brian and Christopher Farrington both of Lexington; Stepdaughters Marissa Johnstone and Nicole Christy both of Richfield; Stepsister Joanna Brown and husband Billy Brown of Faith; Grandfather Fred "Duck" Farrington of Salisbury and six beautiful grandchildren.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Dean Stanley, and Grandmother Iris Farrington.
Michael was a 27-year employee of Stalite, where he had a love and passion for his career and his work family.
Michael also had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He was so excited when he and his fiancé recently purchased a lake house and loved the peace and tranquility the lake brought to them.
Anyone who knew Michael knew that he was always full of laughter and always had a smile on his face.
His family and friends find comfort and peace knowing he is smiling down from heaven.
His family will be having a Celebration of Life to be held at Ben Ketchie Park in Gold Hill, NC on October 1 starting at 1 p.m. Please come out and celebrate the life of a great man.
