His mischevious smile was infectious. He could make anyone smile-just by being himself. He always wanted to be "Arnold", but there is only one Arnold, just like there was only one Andrew. He will be truly missed.

My thoughts are with your family....I can't believe he's gone....Not sure what to say other than that anyone who had the priviledge of knowing him was lucky...including Tristan who is sad as well.... I have so many good memories of Andrew over the last few months and I'll carry them with me forever... He was a great guy whose joy for life was contagious.

There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. There are so memories that have made me smile through my tears, like the day I had a flat tire and couldn't get the lug nuts off, and he came over and took them off while I was at work, watching him dance and play with my little cousin, or arguing with him while putting my shelves together.
Andrew is missed so much.
My prayers are with you.

Scott & Judy. I am truely sorry for the loss of Andrew. Although I met him only briefly, I do remember his pleasant smile and the good feeling it gave me. My son Nick who was in his class at CCHS always spoke highly of Andrew and enjoyed his company. May God bless your family in this time of loss. You are in my prayers.

Dear Scott & Judy:
There are no words to say that can ease your pain but seeing how much Andrew was loved must be a comfort.
Years and miles have come between our families, but seeing you all at dad's funeral in September seemed to erase all the time that had passed and wonderful memories of when we were young cousins having so much fun together came flooding back. Looking at the picture of Andrew is like looking at both of you 35 years ago. Reading these tributes show us just how much Andrew was like the two of you - outgoing, fun, a friend to everyone and loved by all who met him.
Although we are miles apart, know that we are grieving with you and praying for you constantly. We pray that you, Judy, Rob and Becca find strength in our Heavenly Father. We also pray for Becca as she awaits the birth of her baby and that God's infinite peace, grace and love will comfort you all now and always.
We love you,
Patti, Chuck, Kelly & Kristin LeClear

Andrew was such a proud young man. That smile won any heart! His respect and desire to serve his country was so strong even if his body limited his ability. Each time we were with him, he spoke of his hopes and plans. There is no way to understand the reason but we can all be blessed by knowing he touched our lives. Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Andrew. I did not have the honor of knowing this fine young man, from what I have read, it is truely my loss. Andrew sounds like he was a wonderful son, brother and friend. I knew his Grandpa Jimmy, he was a friend of my fathers and easily became my friend as I grew up, I enjoyed his friendship, music and his stories down through the years. I am sure that if Andrew was anything like his Grandpa, he truely was a wonderful guy! Once again, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. & Mrs. Houston,
I had the pleasure of knowing your son through high school sports and while he & I were both attending college. He was definitely the life of the party and his personality was larger than life. I can't think of one moment when I wasn't around Andrew, Rob and the rest of the guys, that I didn't have a smile on my face. Your son brought a richness to the lives of everyone he met, and I know he will never be forgotten. We were all so blessed to have him in our lives for the time that we did.
Andrew: Though you are gone from our mortal lives, you will remain in our hearts forever. You are never forgotten.
With Love and Prayer,

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Andrew. He was a wonderful and delightful person. I remember riding the school bus home with him when we were in middle school. He would always race to get the back seat of the bus and then have a huge smile on his face when he did. He carried that smile throughout the years and even saw it a few times on the football field! Know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers, and may God send his guardian angels to all of you!

It still seems so unreal to me. I know that everything happens for a reason but it still hurts so much. Andrew was a great guy w so much going for him it just seems so unfair for him to be taken away from this world! He has been such a good friend to me since I moved back to So. IL and we have had soooooo many great memories!! No matter what mood I was in when we hungout, by the end of the day I was laughing til I peed my pants because of Andrew. Scott & Judy: I never know what to say when someone passes, especially to the parents who lose a child. When I learn of such a tragedy, my thoughts are immediately of what I would feel, or do, if one of my daughters had passed. That scenario has played-out in my mind a thousand times, with the conclusion always being that I would simply be devastated and lost. I'm certain that is how each of you feel, now. I know that there are no adequate answers as to why this would happen, or why it would happen to such a fine young man as Andrew. Unfortunately, no one on earth has that answer. All that I can say is that I have deep respect for both of you, and Dave, and I pray that each of you will find comfort and that you have faith that you will see and embrace Andrew, again. I met Andrew on several occasions, and I was truly impressed by his respectful attitude and good-natured demeanor. Nothing that I can say will diminish your pain, but I think that it is important for all of you to know that you have many friends who care for you, respect you, and are sharing some of your pain.........Dennis

Andrew was always the "life of the party" and I will always remember his personality being larger than life. Jacob, Brez, Brian, Andrew, Krotch, Rob and I had many good times and created a lot of memories, while I was attending college at John A. Logan and Southern Illinois Univ. Andrew sat me down one evening and insisted that I watch "Pumping Iron" (documentary of Arnold Schwarzenegger's body building career) with him, and though I hated it at the time, it is now one of my most cherished memories.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Though Andrew will no longer be here in the flesh, he will forever remain in my heart.
With Love.
