Erma McAdamis Obituary
She was born June 28, 1922, in Century, W.Va., to Luigi and Amelia (Endrizzi) Zeni.
She married Harold McAdamis May 26, 1945, and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death Feb. 7, 2009.
Erma was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Carbondale. She worked at Carbondale National Bank, SIU Bursar's Office and the SIU Housing Office.
She is survived by a son, James (Sue) McAdamis of St. Charles, Mo.; two grandsons, John (Beth) Krauklis of Denver, Colo., and Jason (Olivia) McAdamis of Ballwin, Mo.; four grandaughters, Krista (Juri) van Zyl of Lusaka, Zambia, Julie (Ken) Koboldt of Chesterfield, Mo., and Kellie and Rachel McAdamis, both of Centennial, Colo.; four great-grandsons, Roman, Joshua and Weston van Zyl, all of Lusaka, Zambia and William Krauklis of Denver, Colo.; five great-granddaughters, Maria and Audrey McAdamis, of Ballwin, Mo., Annie and Maggie Kolboldt of Chesterfield, Mo., and Jacqueline Krauklis of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Delfino Ruffini and Charles Ruffini, of Decatur; a daughter-in-law, Colleen McAdamis of Centennial, Colo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold McAdamis; a daughter, Brenda Krauklis in 1985; a son, John McAdamis in 2010; Brenda's husband Bill in 1995 and five brothers, Bruno Zeni, Leno Zeni, Gentile Ruffini, Guerino Ruffini and Murphy Ruffini.
Funeral Mass for Erma McAdamis will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Father Bob Flannery officiating. Entombment will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the church and the funeral home.

Jim and Sharon, Gail and I send our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your Mother. Your Mom and Dad were very special and generous people who touched the lives of all who knew them. Sorry we won't be at the celebration of Erma's life for we are out of town. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
