Gregory Sisk Obituary
He was born June 28, 1962, to LeRoy and Phyllis Miller Sisk in Christopher.
He attended West Frankfort schools and was also a graduate of FCHS; Greg enjoyed and loved basketball and golfing. The main thing in his last 22 years on earth was studying the word of God. He enjoyed listening to Christian CDs that were made and sent to him weekly that were a blessing to him. He loved being able to listen to the sermons of his pastor, the Rev. H.A. Hilderbrand.
Mr. Sisk was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, which he joined after high school.
Survivors include parents, LeRoy (Linda) Sisk and Phyllis Young; his caregiver for 15 years, Thelma Darnell; cousin and caregiver, Robyn Miller; and friends in his church at First Apostolic Faith Assembly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leroy Sr. and Nellie Sisk; maternal grandparents, Joe and Dorothy Miller; sister, Natalie Sisk; stepfather, Roger Young; and special friend, Brother Timothy Barfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with the Rev. H.A. Hilderbrand officiating. Interment will be in Tower Heights Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at the funeral home.

LR. You may not remember me, but we were child hood friends, So sorry to hear of your Sons death. I, too have just lost my wife of 62 years. Again, LR, sorry to hear of your loss.
