Helen Colp Obituary
CARTERVILLE - Helen Louise Colp, 94, of Carterville passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, at Herrin Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, in Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville.
Memorial contributions can be made to Crainville Baptist Church.
Helen was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Williamson County, to Lawrence and Edna E. (Wright) Cannon. She was united in marriage to Fred Colp who preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1971.
She is survived by her daughters, Dana (Jim) Wilkerson and Ronda (John) Ferguson; grandchildren, Emily, Autumn, and Colby Wilkerson; and niece, Janet Sprague.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Isabel Wiggs and Leon Cannon.
She had been a factory worker at Good Luck Glove Factory for several years.
Helen was a member of Crainville Baptist Church, where she belonged to the Quilters Group.
