Ivan Sims Obituary
He was born in Carbondale, the son of Ralph and Margaret Hatley Sims.
He married Shelley Thompson on July 2, 1977, in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Shelley Sims of Chicago; his mother, Margaret Sims of Chicago; one daughter, Wendy Ann Sims of Chicago; one son, Carter Stephen Sims of Chicago; one sister, Nancy Sims Walls of Bakersfield, Calif.; and other relatives and many friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, in Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery, north of Anna. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
