Jacqueline Noto Obituary

ZEIGLER -- Jacqueline "Jackie" (Berry) Noto, 82, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, in Herrin Hospital.

Jackie was born May 17, 1929, in Zeigler, to Olin and Agnes (Slack) Berry.

She married Tommy Joe Noto on May 23, 1948, in Benton; together they enjoyed 63 years of marriage. He survives in Zeigler. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Karen Noto of Mulkeytown; three grandchildren, Travis Noto of Royalton, Ashley and April Noto of Carterville and Jacque and Veasna Chin of Marion; seven great-grandchildren, Sydney and Trinitti Noto, Hunter, Havyn and Hadly Noto and Brittni and Jackson Chin; a sister, Gerry Hays of Herrin, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joey Noto; and a sister, Lois Atkins.

Jackie was a member of St. Aloysius Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Royalton.

She was the former owner, operator of Personality Florist in Zeigler.

Services for Mrs. Noto will be at noon, Friday, Jan. 6, in St. Aloysius Cemetery, east of Royalton, with Father Trevor Murry officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Noto are suggested to St. Aloysius-Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 S. Pecan Street, Royalton, IL 62983. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.

I am very sad at the news I recieved about the passing of Jackie Noto. She will be missed tremendously. I absolutely know without a doubt where she will be spending eternity. This woman had a heart as big as the world and was one of the nicest women I ever had the pleasure to know. God bless all concerned. May Jackie, rest in peace.
