Leonard Lansdell Obituary

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Leonard Lansdell, 65, beloved husband of Mrs. Connie Lansdell of Hinton Drive, Thomson, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 1, 2003, in the Curtis Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Lansdell was a native of Rome, Ga., but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Connie Lansdell, Thomson; six daughters, Mindia Miller, West Virginia, Tammy Cooper and Kelli Wampler, both of South Carolina, Shelli Maddox and Kimberly Lansdell, both of Georgia and Kristan Phillips, Thomson; five sons, Sammy Lansdell, Marc Kamerad and Matthew Kamerad, all of Georgia, Dexter Lansdell, South Carolina and Tobie Lansdell, Michigan; four sisters, Sandra Bruce, Mary Barnes, Margaret Hammond and Delores Morgan; four brothers, Gerald Lansdell, Jerry Lansdell, Benjamin Lansdell and Roy Lansdell; 16 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be DeWayne Holliman, Robbie Dixon, Travis Hadden, Adam Dye, Judson Lazenby Jr., and Jonathan Hadden. Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home.
