Margie Stilley Obituary
MURPHYSBORO - Margie Ruth Stilley, 91, of Murphysboro passed away at 2:47 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, in SIH Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Margie was born in Cave-in-Rock on Oct. 28, 1932, the daughter of Thomas and Mabel Austin Partain. She married Bob Gene Stilley on April 15, 1954, in Cave-in-Rock. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2000.
Margie is survived by her children, Tom Stilley of Murphysboro, Marianne (Robert) Mason of Grass Valley, California, and Bobby (DeAnn) Stilley of Murphysboro; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the United Methodist Church in Murphysboro, with Rev. Dr. Marty McMichael officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carbon Cemetery, Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Murphysboro.
Memorials may be given to Sallie Logan Library or the United Methodist Church.

Margie and my mom Faye grew up in cave in rock together they use to make paper dolls together and spend weekends together. They stayed close as 1st cousins for all these years. She will miss her.
