Robert Hileman Obituary
He was born Feb. 18, 1931, the son of Lory and Mabel (Keith) Hileman.
Red is survived by a brother, Harold Hileman of Murphysboro; a niece, Deanna G. Hileman of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Bea Stevens of Jonesboro; special friends, Gary and Brenda Phillips of Anna; other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Hileman; and one sister, Doris Rushing.
Red proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of First Christian Church of Anna. He worked for many years as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Services for Mr. Robert "Red" Hileman will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, in Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery, with military funeral honors provided by Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 VFW of Anna and Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Anna or PAWS. Envelopes will be available at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
