Byron K. Anderson died from Alzheimer's on May 17, 2014. He was born on August 17, 1930 in Grantsville, Utah to Parley Eugene and Edith Peck Anderson. He grew up in Cedar City, Utah and married Gene Johnson on February 11, 1950. Byron lived in Cedar City and St. George for the remainder of his life working for Bradshaw Chevrolet for over 60 years.

Byron is survived by his wife, Gene, two daughters, Carolyn Jorgensen (Brian) and Holly Venuti, a sister, Jane Bybee of Las Vegas, NV, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren of Cedar City and Las Vegas.

Byron was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Herman Anderson, two sisters, Alice Woodall and Barbara Alger, and a son, Steven Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Southern Utah Mortuary. A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 10:45 am prior to the services at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com.
