Dwayne M. Sullivan passed away peacefully on September 3, 2013 at his home in Hurricane, UT. Dwayne was born on September 17, 1931 to Cecil and Ila Sullivan. He married Beth Lester from Rockville, UT. on January 5, 1952 in the St. George LDS temple. Dwayne lived in Hurricane most of his life except for a few years when he served in the United States Air Force in the states and also in the South Pacific Islands during the Korean War. He was a successful plumbing contractor who worked on commercial, government and private residential jobs. Dwayne served on the first Hurricane Power Board for many years and enjoyed the accomplishments that were achieved. Dwayne and his wife, Beth, served in the St. George Temple and also fulfilled a mission on the LDS Welfare farm in Hurricane. Dwayne had a love of flying and was a licensed pilot for many years and loved to travel and the outdoors. He was a dedicated, loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Beth, of 61 years his children Terry D. Sullivan (Claire Gubler), Jill Sullivan Beardall (Dan), Patti Nackos (Kelly) and Beth Ann Dockstader. He has 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren all who loved their Grandpa Sully. Dwayne was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Paula, his parents Cecil and Ila Sullivan and his brother Jerry.

A viewing will be held Friday, September 6th at the red brick LDS chapel located at 161 West 300 South in Hurricane from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Services will also be held at the red brick LDS chapel in Hurricane on Saturday, September 7th, at 11am. Prior to the Services, a viewing will be held from 9am to 10:30am. Interment will be at the Hurricane cemetery.
