James Bohn

James (Jim) Bohn passed away on October 30, 2015 at the ripe old age of 85. It took that long to perfect bossing and opinionating. His parents, Ralph and Marietta Nowers Bohn, made him a middle child and we attribute much of his attitude to that syndrome. His siblings, Don, Alice, Devon and Clark had to put up with a lot...sorry about that! Dad definitely did it right when he married Marlys Gillins and had two children, Garth (Linda) Bohn and Janet (Keith) Cartwright, to whom he never quit giving daily instruction in hopes that they would listen at some point. He has seven perfect grandchildren and eighteen totally perfect great grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart and spoke to on a daily basis. He was a Korean War Veteran and heaven only knows what happened over there! Dad enjoyed his career working for the Utah Department of Transportation where he made many lifelong friends. He was a hard worker and had no tolerance with laziness or being late for work. He coached the greatest women's softball team ever created and he knew they could beat any team they played. He never quit bragging about how great they were. He enjoyed going out to coffee every day at 3:30, where the world's problems were resolved during this hour spent with good friends. Dad is one of a kind and we're glad God broke the mold after he was made. We love you and miss you...but we're glad you won't be here to vote in the next election since you were a Democrat. Love you Dad!
