St. George Utah-Joshua David Zook, born January 7th, 1979 passed away April 16th 2015. He left us too early to go to Paradise and be reunited with his beloved uncles. Josh grew up in Lompoc California with his mom Lisa and Sister Lindsay Zook. Josh moved to Utah in search of an adventure and found the love of his life, Kizzy. The best part of his adventure was becoming the loving dad to his girls, Sammy Jo and Sydney Ellen whom he adored and had a special bond with.
Josh was the type of man who would make you smile no matter what and laugh even when you didn't want to. He was the life of any party, and if you knew him you know his favorite quote about parties. Josh always had a love for wood working and created gorgeous pieces of work. Josh made friends everywhere he went and once you were his friend, you were friends for life. Josh is survived by his family and many friends. He was a great husband, brother, son, uncle, friend, and father who was taken too soon.
A Memorial service for Josh will be held on Saturday April 25th at 11:00 A.M. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. In lieu of flowers please donate to America First Credit union, Josh Zook Memorial fund. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221. Josh may you Rest in Paradise in Peace. As with so many family members I was never blessed to meet you in person, facebook gave us that blessing allowing us to connect. Feeling the love and life you shared with my cousin Kizzy and those beautiful lil angels of yours makes me feel like I know you all personally.
