Larry D. Eilers, 74, of Las Vegas passed away peacefully on March 18, 2013. Born November 1, 1938 in Langdon, MO. He lived in Tucson, AZ, Page, AZ and moved to Las Vegas in 1981 and went to work for Nevada Power Company where he worked until he retired in 2002. Since his retirement he has enjoyed traveling and camping with his family and especially his grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Vivian Heckel and his first wife Barbara. He is survived by his wife Ruth, sister Carolyn, brother Harold, children; Laurie (Beau), Larry Edwin (Jocelyn), Leslie (Billy) and Todd, his step-children Renee (Tom), Bill (Debbie) and Mike (Dianne), his grandchildren Brendan (Kalene), Patrick, Cody, Courtney, Lance (Jen), Courtney, Andrew, Austin, Jessica, Johnathan, Jordon, Kevin (Jessica), Russell, Brandon, Ryan, Vincent (Stacy), Jake, Kim and great-grandchildren Karston, Braden and Aether. Services will be held at First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 301 S. Maryland Parkway, Monday, March 25 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests you donate in Larry's name to the charity of your choice.
