Neil Emerson Pace was born August 22, 1933 to Raymond Garrett Pace and Maybel Gwendolyn Carter. He had five siblings: Raymond Elwood, Kenneth J, Barbara jean, and Weston Ray. He married Ruby Mae Barter May 8, 1953 and their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple April 1993. He later married Alberta Lorena Lee January 8, 2000 in the Saint George Temple. He played the French horn in high school and received a full ride music scholarship to BYU. He served in the Army Reserve during the Korean War where he played in 4 different military bands. He worked for 30 years and retired from United States Steal, Geneva. In retirement he drove a bus for Head Start. He served in the LDS church as a Sunday School Teacher, Ward Clerk, Bishopric Counselor, and Ward Missionary. He loved to sing in the ward choir. He is survived by Alberta Pace (wife), Children: Sherian Morris (Neal), Cory Smith, Brett Pace, RoShan Keele (Steve), Barter Pace (Debra), Shane Pace (Trudy), 21 Grand Children, and 45 Great Grand Children, 2 Great Great Grand Children. He was preceded in death by his wife (Ruby), parents, siblings, Children: Sherida (daughter), and Sydney (daughter). Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Leeds Chapel (75 North Main Street Leeds, Utah). A viewing will be the same day before the funeral at 10:00 A.M - 10:45 A.M. A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 N. 800 E. at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes Mortuary. (435) 674-5000.
