Riley Tobler

Riley Scott Tobler, 15, died in a tragic accident on April 28, 2014.

He was born March 25, 1999, in Logan, Utah, to Mindy Iverson and Scott Tobler. Riley and his family moved to Cedar City in 2001, when he was 2 years old. He attended Three Peaks Elementary and Canyon View Middle School. He was currently attending Canyon View High School and the Success Academy at SUU. He was an excellent student, ending 3rd quarter with a 4.0 GPA. He liked football, especially watching the Green Bay Packers, but his true love was CrossFit. He was doing an average of 5 WOD's a week excitedly preparing for his upcoming Spartan Race. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. He played the bass clarinet in the Canyon View Concert band and was an avid reader. He was a member of the LDS Church and loved his Teacher's Quorum and Varsity Scout group. He was kind, loving, always put others first, and never spoke a mean word about anyone. He also had a special love for animals. He will be greatly missed by his parents, grandparents Mike & Bev Iverson, Leo & Carla Tobler, and adopted Grandpa William "Pete" Eaton. He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and pretty much anyone who knew him. Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 11 am in the Enoch West Stake Center, 3575 No. Minersville Hwy. There will be a visitation prior to the services from 9 to 10:30 am.
