Robert "Bob" Leslie Pace passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on August 4, 2018. He was 85 years old. Bob was born in Cedar City Utah, on May 7th 1933 and was raised in the farming and ranching community of New Harmony, Utah.

The only boy in a family of four girls, he graduated Cedar City high school in 1951 and later achieved his associates degree in History from Branch Agriculture College (now Southern Utah University) in Cedar City, UT. Bob went on to study Marketing at the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, and graduated in 1958 with a Bachelor's Degree. Midway through college, he joined the United States Army, serving as a Military Policemen during the Korean War. Bob completed Boot Camp at Fort Ord in Monterey, California and MP training in Augusta, Georgia. Eventually, he was stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico attached to the Antilles Headquarters for the U.S. Army Air Forces.

Bob spent 36 years in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, 28 of those years employed at, and retired from, Nationwide Insurance Company, where he achieved his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) credentials.

A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bob served many callings in the church, including Executive Secretary to the Bishop, Councilor in the Bishopric and a member of the High Council to the Stake President in the Vancouver, Washington area.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Kaye Robison Pace. They were married in Croydon, Utah on September 5, 1959 following their engagement on Valentine's Day of the same year, and later sealed for time and all eternity in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple in 1967. He is also survived by his five loving children; Leslie Potts (Bruce), Mary Pace (Steve), Robert Pace (Noly), Mark Pace (Grace) and Scott Pace (Paige); Cherished grandchildren: Abbie, Morganne, Griffin, Camille, Chloe, Weston, Davin, Ava, Pierce, Sloane, Mira, Felix, Kayla and Kelsey. His two loving sisters: Carolyn Wainwright and Patricia Imlay; his beloved Uncle: Gordon Pace, as well as nieces and nephews.

Among many of his life's passions, Bob enjoyed; golf, genealogy, gardening, daily walks at The Salmon Creek Trail where he made many friends, delighting his grandchildren with "tall tales", tracking the financial markets, reuniting with loved ones in New Harmony, UT where he was raised, but most of all, spending time in devotion to his wife Kaye and his family.

The family thanks Community Home Hospice and the devoted Caregivers of Northwest Healthcare for their respectful and loving care of our Dad. God Bless Them.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held Saturday, August 18th at the LDS Felida Chapel at 14400 Northwest 26th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98685, beginning with a viewing at 10:00AM and funeral service at 11:00AM. Graveside ceremony will be held at 2:00PM at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98684 in the Garden of Arlington West.
