Deborah Montgomery Obituary

Deborah Jean Hash Montgomery, age 70, of Willisburg, KY, passed away at 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Springfield Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born in Newark, Ohio on June 5, 1954, to the late William Ralph and Barbara Jean Simross Hash.

She was a graduate of Bay County High School in Panama City, Florida, and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Cynthia Ann Black.

Survivors include her husband, David Montgomery: a son, Kevin Montgomery of Willisburg; two daughters, Amanda Figueora (Jesus) of Lexington and Judy Mohrhaus (Mark) of Springfield; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Carla Madinger (Josh) of Dresden, Ohio; a brother, Bobby Stansberry (Bonnie) of South Zanesville, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Helen Johnson of Springfield and two brothers-in-law, John Montgomery and Danny Montgomery (Judy) of Willisburg.

A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 26, at the Free Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bobby Chesser, officiating.

Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
