Mary Reed Obituary

Mary Juanita Mudd Reed age 102 of Bardstown, formerly of Springfied, died at 9:10 pm Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Landmark of Bardstown.

Born July 1, 1922 in Hog Run in Washington County, she was preceded in death by her parents, Colonel Everett and Mary Cusick Mudd, a daughter, Mary Jane Cornish, five brothers, Arvie, Everett Jr., Sidney, Forrest and Jerome Mudd and five sisters, Betty Ann Barber, Frances Hamilton, Josephine Adams, Mary Blandford and Alice Higdon.

She was a homemaker, a den mother and a member of St. Dominic Altar Society.

She is survived by a son, Jimmie (Crystal) Reed of Bardstown, a sister, Wahseka Luckett of Bardstown, 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral mass for Mary Juanita Mudd Reed will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, October 3, 2024 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. Culpepper Elliott officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brent Hoffmeier, Lance Reed, Blake Oliver, Cade Leake, Terreance Leake, and Tate Reed

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with Deacon Joe Dant officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 till 8:00 pm Wednesday and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Thursday morning at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home.

Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
