Robin Allen Obituary

Robin Christine Whittaker Allen, age 50, of Booker Road, Springfield, Ky, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 in Lebanon.

She was born in Harrodsburg, KY on October 12, 1971.

She was a member of the Willisburg Baptist Church, a 1990 graduate of Mercer County High School and a former employee of Bluegrass Assisted Living in Bardstown.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Wanda Lewis Hume on November 16, 2018.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Allen; three daughters, Lacey Whittaker of Willisburg, Makayla Allen and McKenzie Allen both of Springfield; a grandchild, Major Zane Ellery; her father, Dan Whittaker (Kathy) of Harrodsburg; her step-father, Ronnie Hume of Harrodsburg and two sisters, Carolyn Bottom (Jamie) of Burgin and Tammy Mobley (Dustin) of Harrodsburg.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4 th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Hatfield, officiating.

Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Denise Smock, Paula Baker, Betty Chesser and Donna Lewis.

Serving as casket bearers were Jamie Bottom, Dustin Mobley, Coby Marks, Steve Baker, Anthony Demar and Chris Mattingly. Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
