Ruby Hardin Obituary
Ruby Jones Hardin, age 83, of Springfield, passed away at 9:25 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Nelson County on Aug. 4, 1929 to the late Ollie and Lucy Pearl Pulliam Hahn.
She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, J. Paul Jones on May 9, 1997 and Orland Hardin on May 6, 2012; a sister, Minnie Pearl Collins and three brothers, Charlie Hahn, Elmo Hahn and William Forest Hahn.
Survivors include her two sons, David Jones and his wife, Wanda and Mike Jones and his wife, Mary Ann of Springfield; her daughter, Peggy Marlow and her husband, Jim of Amherst, N.H.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Emma Lee Jones and her husband, Garland of Louisville, Jean Willinger and her husband, David of Charlestown, Ind. and Rose Marksbury and her husband, Eddie Jr. of Taylorsville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17 at the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Compton, pastor of the Springfield Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Jason Jones, Aaron Jones, Matthew Jones, Charlie Edison Hahn, Keith Smith and Eddie Warren Jones.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Our family will miss Ruby. She & her family have always been like our own family, no matter how far apart we've become in miles. Ruby will be remembered as a wonderful friend and lady! Our deepest sympathy to the Jones family. Love, The Wells family
