My heart is saddened by learning of the passing of Al, we worked together for years at Westinghouse and became friends. We spent a lot of time discussing problems and sharing experiences. I lost track of Al and hadn´t seen him for several years, also knew his father and brother. My condolences to his family and friends, may GOD bless.

Selma sure lost a GREAT friend when Al was called home. I've known him for years & my heart is breaking. Always had a smile any time I've seen him. Polite, a TRUE gentleman, Patriotic, Strong, Sense of humor & GREAT overall person whom I'll def miss. Hearing & seeing him box/workout in his garage amazed me. R.I.P. Mr Al fly high my friend.

Al was a great guy. I met al years ago at the Muncie PAL club and he was one of the most colorful and authentic people I ever met. It is rare in today’s world where you meet someone as real as Al Hughes.

I will miss Al living down the road from me. We always spoke when I was out on my walks if he was out. I met him in an organization many yrs ago and we talked many times and he was a great help to me. Thank you for your service Al.
