Chris Goodpaster Obituary
MUNCIE - Chris Goodpaster, 55, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 14, 2016 at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis with his family at his side.
He was born on August 19, 1960 in Muncie the son of Richard and Beverly (Gettys) Goodpaster and attended Yorktown High School.
Chris owned and operated C & M Residential Services for more than fifteen years with his wife. Most of his costumers turned into great friends, some even like family.
He enjoyed playing music, building motorcycles, recreational vehicles, and participating in motorcycle rides for charity, and proudly escorted the veteran's wall into Morrows Meadow.
Surviving are his wife, Michelle, together for twenty-seven years and married for twenty of those years; wonderful daughter, Kayla Goodpaster, Muncie; step-son, Christopher Wash (Ariel), Indianapolis; two step-grandsons, Dylan and Jaxxon; his mother, Beverly Crawley, Muncie; two brothers, Richard Goodpaster (Phyllis), Muncie and Frank Goodpaster (Sandy), Muncie; two step-brothers, Mont Crawley (Carol), Delaware and Cliff Crawley (Lois), Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins some like brothers in crime.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Crawley; and two sisters, Cheryl and Denise Goodpaster; step-sister, Sherry Overton; and his uncle, Jack Gettys.
A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August, 22, 2016 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
Memorials may be directed to the family. In lieu of flowers monetary donations are welcome.

So sorry you have to have a family member leave this earth so young. Remember and celebrate who he was and the happiness he brought into your lives while he was with you. If he was a Christian and you are too look forward to the time you'll see one another again in a future with no more pain or problems and celebrate that also.
You are a loving family. God's peace and comfort be with you all.
