Christopher Michael Wilkin, 38

Muncie - Christopher Michael Wilkin, 38, Muncie, joined our loving angels on February 23, 2017. 

He was born August 24, 1978, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Rebecca McColley and the late John Wilkin.  Chris was a 1996 graduate of Southside High School.  Chris served our country as a proud U.S. Marine, "Semper-Fi" "OO-RAH"!  He was funny, witty, outgoing, and sarcastic.  He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.  Chris loved to cook where he used his skills at Awful Waffle and had recently worked for Uglies and Pizza King.  His hobbies included his own personality (you liked it or not), shooting pool, movies, music, and spending time with his family and friends.  Life has a challenge for each one of us and he made the best out of his.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Rebecca McColley; sister, Jessica McColley (Mark Dunn); uncle, David McColley; cousins, Wendy Burris, Tegan Burris, Shyann Burris, Tristan Coates, Dan Wilkin; and a large circle of friends.

Angels he will be joining include his father, John Wilkin (Robin Wilkin); grandparents, Barbara Wilkin, Ernie Wilkin, Charles Edward McColley, and Mary Ethel McColley; uncle, Charles Leroy McColley; aunt, Christina Sue McColley; cousin, Nina Christine Burris; and a nephew Christian Micheal Orebaugh.

Services will be held at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017, with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating, followed by Military Honors.

Calling will be at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for family and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service for friends.

Contributions may be made to the family to help with Christopher's funeral expenses.
