Garrett Rowe Obituary
MUNCIE - Garrett Eugene "Buddy" Rowe, 51, of Muncie, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
He was born on July 27, 1963 to Ocie and Ralph Rowe.
He loved people and he loved to cook. He attended Muncie Community Schools and had been self-employed. In his younger years he attended Christ Temple with his aunt and uncle, the late Elder Hosea and Eula Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ocie Rowe and father, Ralph (Connie) Rowe; his children, Garrett Henry of Atlanta, Georgia and Jayden Grimes of Muncie, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kahmaj Cork and Kamula Mohr; his sisters, Shelby Rowe and Chaya Jernigan, both of Muncie; his brother, Ralph "Mushy" Rowe of Muncie; two nieces, Jennifer Berry of Kokomo, Indiana and Jara Rowe of Muncie; two nephews, Juron Strong and Jordan Rowe both of Muncie, he also leaves a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral service are 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at Destiny Christian Center International, 5000 E Centennial Ave. Muncie, Indiana.
Calling hours are 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday at Destiny Christian Center International.
Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Services entrusted to Community Family Funeral Home, Richmond, Indiana. Online condolences may be made at www.communityfamilyfh.com.

I remember once "Buddy" had come back from a trip to Philly back in the day and he introduced some hip new word to us and he was like " yeah, that's what it is". He asked me to make him a beaded necklace, when I was a street vendor, I did and he wore it for about 15 years straight...my dude. Been said, miss you already.
Much respect for what the original Muncie "Buddy Love" was, in the flesh...a real brother and One Righteous Love in the soul.
Mrs. Ocie, Chaya, Mushy, Karla, Jay, Kelly, Kim...I will surely miss his earthy presence, but Love never dies.

To Mrs. Ocie, Mr. Ralph, His Children, Siblings and Entire Rowe Family. We express our deepest condolences and sympathy in the passing of Buddy Rowe. Buddy was a wonderful person who always had a smile on his face, a way to make you keep smiling, laughing and never a dull moment. I have so many wonderful memories of my friend in Whitley Community, attending church with the Rowe family, hanging at Parkview, Muncie Parks, playing softball under Mr. Joe Rowe. Buddy was always in the crowd somewhere cheering us on. Everytime you all think of Buddy ALWAYS call on Our Sweet Jesus Name and He will bring you through and Grant All of You just what you Need. I pray for Comfort, Healing, Peace, Calmness, Strength, Restoration and Lean on Our God's Understanding. Only God's Love and Your Family/Friends Love will carry you all through. I met Buddy through my job. I transported him to his doctor appointments in Indianapolis. I will really miss him. He never complained and always had a smile. He would do anything for anyone. I will miss you Buddy. You will not have anymore pain and you will walk perfectly now.
