James Hensley Obituary
MUNCIE - James B. "Beaver" Hensley, 58, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 24, 2016.
He was born on December 28, 1057 in Muncie the son of Clarence and JoAnna (Justice) Hensley and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1976.
James worked at Muncie Reclamation and Supply Company and moved to California settling in the city of Santa Rosa where he lived until returning to Muncie in June of 2016.
He played drums with several bands and had his own band "Chrome Rubber". He also appeared on national television on the Jerry Springer Show.
Surviving are his father, Clarence "Dink" Hensley; his brother, Charles "Chuck" Hensley (wife, Lyn); his wife, Tammy Hensley, Santa Rosa, CA; three nieces, Sarah, Shelly, and Jamie; a great niece, Kayleigh; two great nephews, Kaden and Liam, all residing in Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnna (Justice) Hensley.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Antioch Church, 5400 N. 600 W., Muncie with Rev. Gene Shievely officiating.
Friends may call at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

So sorry to hear of Beaver's untimely passing. He was a good friend to both my brother Randy Davidson, and to me. I will miss him. Please know I am holding you and his family in the Light.

Jimmie, you had such a loving spirit. There will never be another one like you. I loved you very much and regret all of the years that kept us out of contact. Maybe your sudden passing will teach us to hold on tight to our loved ones and stay closer in contact with each other. Aunt Sissy
