John White Obituary
MUNCIE - John Thomas "Tommy" White, 64, passed away late Wednesday evening, January 25, 2017 at the Brookside Haven Health Care Center following an extended illness.
He was born on October 29, 1952, in Muncie, the son of John M. and Crystal (Haffner) white.
Tommy had resided in the Hamilton Heights Health Care Center in Arcadia, Indiana for many years prior to being transferred to Muncie. Mr. White enjoyed listening to all types of music. He would listen to programs on the television featuring Glenn Miller and Lawrence Welk. Tommy especially enjoyed hearing his mother sing to him.
Mr. White is survived by his mother, Crystal White, Muncie; one brother, G. W. White, Muncie; Katherine Dailey (husband-Jeff), Columbus, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his father, John M. White in 1993.
Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Monday January 30, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with committal services following at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Nancy Cole Hunt officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church 1707 E. 26th St. Muncie, Indiana 47302.
