Lola Miller Obituary
New Castle - Lola R. Miller, 83, of New Castle and formerly of Albany, Indiana passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017. She was born June 7, 1934, in Henry County to the late Donald and Blanche (Walkee) McKee.
Lola was a member of New Lisbon Christian Church and retired from Ball State University in 2001. She loved flowers and enjoyed flower gardening. Lola was also an avid collector of Boyd Bears and Hummel figurines.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James E. Miller; children, Ed (Cheryl) Miller, Sharon (Dewey) Hillman, Barbara (Dennis) Smith, Dennis (Gina) Miller, Debbie (Tim) Hamilton; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Jean) McKee, Marilyn Smith; an aunt, Helen Wieseke and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant child; grandson, Jason Miller; a sister, Judy Ingermann and a brother, Bobby Mckee.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow at Brick Cemetery near Hagerstown. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, November 30 at the funeral home. You may express condolences or share a memory of Lola at www.hinsey-brown.com.

I am so sorry to learn of the death of my cousin, Lola Rose.
She was my late father's favorite niece. My mother and father always spoke kindly about her and held her in high regard.
