I was one of the nurses at Rush and remember Mary Ellen's spunk and zest for life. I always looked forward to our visits. She certainly was a fighter. I was just thinking about patients we lost to PPH and I thought of Mary Ellen so I hit the internet to see what I could find out. While I'm sorry for your loss I am utterly amazed that her zest & determination gave her so many years. She was one determined lady! May she be flying high and breathing easily as she watches over all her family. God bless. Patty, RN

I learned to type in Mrs. McKinsey's class at Delta in the '70s. She inspired her students to do their very best. She was tiny, but mighty, and I loved having her as a teacher.
