Phyllis McVicker was a very popular teacher at Portage High School. It was a pleasure working with her in physical education. Phyllis was very dedicated to her profession and she made it fun for her students. I will have fond memories of her.

I grew up with Phyllis. She was a beautiful and loving human being. I remember as kids on the old school ground that she was one of the best marble players out there. Took alot of my marbles. I'm sure she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

My dad, Myron Fessler, had the pleasure of working with Phyllis for many years. As a young child, I can remember those bear hugs, her smile, her laugh, and her wonderful personality. She was an amazing person.
