William H. Fraley

Dunkirk - William H. Fraley, 85, of Dunkirk, IN., formerly of Ranger, WV. passed peacefully following an extended illness Sunday morning, December 2, 2018 at the home of his daughter in Dunkirk, IN. He was born on March 12, 1933 in Kistler, WV., to the late William H. and Viola Essie (McCoy) Fraley. Survived by former wife Zona Brenner, Dunkirk, IN., Sons; Alan Malcolm (Joy) Fraley Sr., Redkey, IN., Mark (Belen) Fraley, Virginia Beach, VA., Paul Fraley, Dunkirk, IN., Daughter; Rita (Jim) Floyd, Brother; Charles Fraley (Arleda) Point Pleasant, WV., Sisters; Mary (Max) Radar, Marysville, TN., Pat (Jim) Custer Silver Spring, MD., 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his beloved border collie Queenie. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Larry Keith Fraley, brothers Dallas Fraley and Menford Fraley, and sister Dorothy Ooten. He served in the Army in Alaska during the Korean War and was retired from Kerr Glass Company in Dunkirk. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bluegrass music and was a member of the American Legion. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 5-7 PM at MJS Mortuaries - Dunkirk Chapel and 2 hours prior to the funeral services on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 12-2 PM at McGhee - Handley Funeral Home in Hamlin WV. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Brother Joey Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Sanders Cemetery, Ranger Ridge, WV. Local arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Dunkirk Chapel.
