William "Will" Lawrence Waughfield III

William "Will" Lawrence Waughfield III, 52, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born in Muncie, IN, September 6, 1968 to Lindetta Hawkins and William L. Waughfield Jr.

A life long resident, Will went to the Muncie Community Schools. Will was a cook for several local restaurants. He loved to cook, fish, watch TV and spend time with his family and friends.

William leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Lindetta (Michael) Hawkins; two sons, Maurice C. Waughfield, Sturgis, MI and Isaiah Caudill, KY; four brothers, Wayne Buchanan, and Michael Hawkins, both of Muncie, IN, and Tymaine (Kirsten) Waughfield, Anderson, IN; and Richard McClendon, CA; three sisters, Miranda Dishmon, OH, Mykeal Isom, and Shalonda Hawkins, Muncie, IN; grandmothers, Harriett Hall, Indianapolis, IN and Emma Dorrough, Muncie, IN; eight aunts, four uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and several close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandfathers William Waughfield Sr., and Thomas Hall Sr.; maternal grandfather Arthur Clark; great-grandparents George and Beulah Watkins and Lewis and Isbelle Lacey.

Services will be Monday, April 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Faulkner Mortuary Chapel of Chimes.

Calling will be two hours prior to services from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
