Ann Purifoy Obituary

GASTON - A memorial service in loving memory of Ann P. Purifoy, 59, of Gaston, will be held at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon, May 2, 2009, at Covenant Community Fellowship, 1111 Mason Road, Columbia, SC, with the Rev. Amos Hann officiating. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mrs. Purifoy passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009, after an extended illness. Born August 28, 1949, in Macon, GA, she was a daughter of Dorothy Delezlin Courtney Pressley and the late Samuel Braxton Pressley.

Surviving are a daughter, Angie Kelley of Pickens; son, Lonnie Wilson and wife, Pam, of Pickens; grandchildren, Alicia Espinoza and husband, Daniel, Christy Wilson, Brad Wilson and wife, Courtney, Elaina Coker and husband, Barry, Andrea Wilson, Macie Wilson and Soni Combs; great-grandchildren, Nate, Laura, Kailynn, Jared and Bryson; mother, Dorothy Pressley; sister, Mitzie Palmer and husband, William; brother, Ricky Pressley; several nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Rhonda, Sandra and Linda.
