Betty Sheorn Obituary

CAMDEN - Betty Muller Sheorn, 85, widow of Colvin Wiley Sheorn, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Kershaw Health. Born in Camden on June 20, 1926, Betty was the daughter of the late Mortimer Glover Muller and Nancy Lindsay Muller. A lifelong Camden resident, Betty was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012, at Bethesda Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow at John Knox Hall. There will be a private inurnment.

Mrs. Sheorn is survived by a son, Toby Sheorn and granddog, Olive, of Camden, and a daughter, Lindsay Sheorn Beatty (Christopher); granddaughters, Shannon Beatty Harley (Simon), Allison Beatty and Devon Beatty, and a great grandson, Noah Harley, all of New York.

In lieu of flowers, Betty asked that any memorials be made to Walter Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 S. Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kershaw Health Med 2, especially Ziad Mattar, MD, Ron Copeland, CNA, Jim Raab, RN and Rebecca Fullum, NP, for making her final days peaceful.
