To the Sloan family who I conceder as my Family
How can I start to say how I feel when I heard of the news of the person who I feel to be like a mother to me, and Larry like a father and Little Larry who was like a brother to me. My pain runs just as deep. You all have been like a family to me for 13 and half years while working at Community Care Home and living on the property. It is so hard to put this into words, “I will miss you Carolyn (My Sloanie Baby)”.

Larry, I was saddened to read that you've lost Carolyn. I remember her with great fondness & appreciation for all that she did during our time together at KCI. There were many occasions that her unhesitating willingness to step up & do what had to be done kept the roof on the place. She enjoyed the admiration & respect of the entire staff & inmate population. I know this is a difficult time, but be certain that you & Carolyn are in the prayers of alot of old friends. God bless both of you.

Dear Larry and Larry Jr.,
It is with sincere fondness that Rosanne and I remember the many years of friendship we enjoyed with you and Carolyn. Our memories of her visits to Palmetto Galleries bring a smile to our hearts. She was your treasure, but it was our good fortune to have known her through these many years. She will be greatly missed. May our Lord strengthen and encourage you at this sad time.
