January 2, 1965 - October 24, 2021
Lexington, South Carolina - Chadd L. Corley passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the age of 56. He was born January 2, 1965 in Lexington, SC. He was the son of the late Dwight L. Corley and Nita Snelgrove Corley.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 28 at 11:00 am at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. A private graveside service will be held at Woodridge Memorial Park at a later date.
Chadd was employed with M. L. Corley and Sons Sawmill for 25 years. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, North Edisto Hunting Club, Gator Bay Hunting Club, Carolina Classic Bassmasters; previous member of Lexington Jaycees and National Wild Turkey Federation and member of Zion Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with friends and family at the Gator Bay. He was a great guy with a big heart and was a happy fella' full of jokes and laughs. We will miss him dearly.
Chadd is survived by brothers, Kregg (Lisa), Karson (Rhonda); nieces and nephews, Jordan (Wayne), Addison, Mason (Kaitlyn), Matt and Emma Corley, James and Macy Hunt, Lakin, Landon, Logan and Lacie Hinson; great nieces and nephews, Addley and Paxton Corley, Jackson Lee, Ryker Hinson. He is also survived by his loving companion, Loretta Baldwin and her children, Brandi Graham and Jessica Buff; grandchildren, Kaylee, Reagan, Brooks and Adyson Graham, Talon and Ava Buff. He is also survived by his uncle, W. Kent Grant; aunt, Janice Lindler (Ron), Gail Corley. He was predeceased by his parents; uncles, Randy Snelgrove and Samuel "Sam" Corley, and aunt, Patricia "Patty" Grant.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boy Scout Troop 425, 226 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072.

Janice , I had no idea you lost your nephew or that Randy, Nita Jo and Dwight had passed. My thoughts are with the family. I didn´t know Chadd, but sure did know his family. I see from his obituary, he got the Snelgrove humor and love of hunting. I am sure he is missed.
