Charles Tuttle Obituary

Charles Allen Tuttle COLUMBIA - Mr. Charles Allen Tuttle, 69, of Columbia passed away Wednesday December 12, 2012. Mr. Tuttle was Born in Catawba County, North Carolina and was the son of the late Charles H. and Nettie Moss Tuttle. He was the owner and operator of a residential building company and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mr. Tuttle was a lover of sports, enjoyed his work, and always delighted in meeting new people. His upbeat personality and positive attitude were traits that all of those who knew him loved and admired. Mr. Tuttle was always a loving and supporting husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Tuttle is survived by his loving wife, Claudette Sears Tuttle of Columbia; children, David Tuttle of Columbia and Ashley Tuttle of New York, NY; grandchildren, Charles Hay Tuttle and Gray McMaster Tuttle. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Monday December 17, 2012 at Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Private interment with the family will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Charles A. Tuttle Scholarship, C/O the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 725, Columbia, SC 29202. Please sign the online guest book at www.kornegayandmoseley.com.
