Clyde Taylor Obituary

SALLEY — Mr. Clyde Taylor, 87, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, in Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken.
 
Clyde was born May 19, 1922, in Hartsville, SC. He was the son of the late Mr. Lawton and Lottie Taylor.
 
Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, February 5, 2010. Funeral service will be at Antioch Baptist Church, North, Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. with Minister Louis Yon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, North.
 
Clyde relocated to New York City in the early years and in 1951 he was united in holy matrimony to Miss Phennie Spriggs, who preceded him in eternal rest. He was employed by Plumbers and Pipefitters Co. and the Tax and Limousine Commission. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a proud veteran of World War II.
 
He is survived by his sons, Larry (Charlene) Taylor, Melbourne, Fla. and Lamar Williams Taylor of Massachusetts; a special friend, Anna Revels, New York City; a host of grandchildren and many loving cousins, and many other loving relatives and caring friends.
 
J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, Wagener, is in charge.
