To the family...I knew David as one of the best, most supportive co-worker ever! His actions and soft spoken ways was known throughout the command. He was truly called by the Lord into ministry. He is missed but never forgotten.

Ida & family,
I had the pleasure of occasionally working with David for several years at Saufley Field. He made my day better whenever I encountered his infectious smile & gentle spirit. I consider it a blessing to have known him. Although the world has lost a tremendous man, heaven has gained a wonderful saint. May faith, hope & love be your strength and comfort in the days ahead.

Ida and family of David Ishmael, I hope you find some comfort in knowing that David walked the talk that he preached. He was one of the most carrying and respectful and respectable young men I have ever had the opportunity to meet. I also work for the government and our paths had the opportunity to cross. He loved his God and his family and he practiced what he preached. My prayers are with you all during this trying time but I know a God who is able to wash away all tears. God bless you and your family

It is with a veryy heart that I share my sincere condolences with David's loving family. He will definitely be sorely missed. I cannot express how much the world has lost with his passing. For The Family, please accept this poem that may express how I perceive this time in your lives:

God's Will

If there was any other way
Your dear one would still be here
To comfort you and care for you
And calm all of your fears.

But God has put a will in place
Neither you nor I can change.
He also makes us strong enough
To suffer through hurt and pain.

Remember all the times you‘ve shared
And let that comfort you.
Think of what your loved one would
Have wanted you to do.

It may seem now the time you had
Was too short to comprehend.
You wonder why it had to be
Such a quick and sudden end.

But keep your trust and faith in God
And know that He is near.
Just like your loved-one‘s spirit
Which you will always hold dear.

I'm saddened to hear of Ish's passing. The world is a little gloomier with his absence.

He was easy to like, loved a good joke and, in good-natured verbal jousting, gave as good as he got.

In all the time I worked around Ish, I never heard anything bad said about him. He was a fine man and my life has
been made better by having known him.

Rest In Peace my friend!

I met David in 1989 my first day at work. He was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. He was always saying "It's going to be alright". I'll always remember his kindness and those simple words of wisdom that can have so many layers of meaning. We were all blessed to have known him and I hope this brings some comfort to his beloved family.

We will miss David Ishmael (Ish). Ish was more than a co-worker or friend. He was family and a great example of faithfulness to all. David always had a big smile on his face. I can only image how big his smile is now that he has moved from labor to reward. We will miss you from this earth realm. But, we praise God for the life you lived, the love, joy, kindness and hope you shared with everyone you met.
We are praying for you family that God will give you his peace that surpasses all understanding. Psalms 27:13 says I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. It is our prayer that even during this difficult time that God will still empower you to see His Goodness.
Love and Prayers,

Carol Pepper
