COLUMBIA - A Homegoing service for Debra Eichelberger Snipes will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at God's Church of Deliverance, with burial in Stover Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 tonight at Bostick-Tompkins F.H. Born in Columbia to James Eichelberger and Jessie Mae Green, she died March 4, 2010. Surviving: children, Vickie Moody, Jeffrey Snipes, Tara Eichelberger; siblings, Dorothy, Betty and James Eichelberger, Vivian and Sylvia Hamilton; five grandchildren.

I just learned of the death of Debra Snipes. So sorry her music is a great inspiration to me. Especially we come along ways. I was strolling through some music and found her song stepping out the box, I know it was God that had me to find that song, because it really ministered to me.

Our condolences to all family & friends. I came across Debra's music on Facebook last week & has been playing it nonstop. She was a great artist with an angelic & amazing voice. My favorite song of hers is So Many Times The Lord Made A Way For Me. Love, Sympathy & Prayers. Melvenia Jones & Family I know she is missed here but Jesus inherited an angel with an angelic voice.

I just found Debra's music on YouTube. I have been playing it over and over again. It's been such a blessing to me. So anointed. It has me blessing and praising the Lord. I just saw that she has passed. Thank you Lord for the this precious woman. May God bless her family. I will continue to listen to her music as it is so inspiring and uplifting, and it glorifies the Lord.
Also, my brother listened to her music when he was at my house. He said "I gotta get that". He loves her music.

I just heard Seek Jesus by Debra Snipes for the first time and was so touched! I just discovered she has passed away. I´m so thankful for her ministry and that it lives on in her music. I sent this song to my family and friends. She is still blessing many!

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of my favorite gospel singer Mrs Debra . I'm still in shock. We enjoyed her many times in Church Point at her Gospel Fest. Vicky, Jeff and Tara I'm so sorry to about the loss of your mother at this time. Ms. Debbie was like second mom to the Melton girls. She help my grandmother in so many way as we grew up.
